Thro history, many commemoration days, ceremonies, celebrations have been held in many communities. But the national states emerging with the French Conflict have tried to unite communities around a single national identity. In this context, new symbols were created to create a nation. Unfortunately, at the beginning of this year there will be national holidays. For the National Feasts are days that reflect the common values of the people and make them sheltered with that occasion. The Turkish nation, under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, won the National Struggle after the establishment of the new Turkish State regime in 1923 by putting the Republic in the name of this successful process. In 1925 a law was adopted to commemorate this important day every year, and thus the 29th of October was declared National Day. The theme of this work consists of the celebrations of the Republic Day held in Kırşehir. With the announcement of the Republic, the celebrations held in Kırşehir only can be examined in the Republic Archive. In this context, in 1939, 1940, 1941, 1944 and 1945 in Kırşehir, how the Republic Feasts were celebrated, what preparations were carried out, who participated in these ceremonies and the content of the ceremonies was provided. According to the information obtained, important preparations were made for the Republic's holiday ceremonies in Kırşehir. The main streets of the city are decorated, the houses and workplaces are equipped with flags. With the broad participation of the public, three-day ceremonies were held on day and night separate programs.

In this context, information was given about how the Republic Day ceremonies were made in Kırşehir in 1939, 1940, 1941, 1944 and 1945, what preparations were made, who participated in these ceremonies and the content of the ceremonies. Important preparations were made for the Republic Day ceremonies in Kırşehir. The main streets of the city are decorated and houses and offices are equipped with flags throughout. During the ceremonies that continued for three days with the broad participation of the people, separate programs were organized during the day and night.
