In this study, mainly the producter liability has been investigated in the context of the Council Directive of 25.7.1985 (no.374), and the legal regulation of the subject in Turkey has been examined. Producter liability can be defined as the responsibility of the person who produces and markets a product for the damage inflicted upon the legally protected bodily integrity and property of others as the result of a defect in the product without requirement of any proof for his own fault, and consequently his compensation for the damage, Producter Liability, which is a special regulation that imposes liability without any contract in case a defective product is marketed by the producer and inflicts damage on the legally protected property of other persons, has been regulated in Turkey with the fourth article of the Code of The Protection of Consumers and the subsequently accepted By-Laws about the damages caused by defective products
