The objective of this study was to assess the risk of early specialization by the futsal training used in the U-7 category from São Paulo, Brazil. We selected 14 athletes federated futsal, the U-7 category. The outcomes were collected by questionnaire in interview format. There were no significant differences (p > 0.05) betweenthe grounds that coach taught and that were assimilated by athletes. The grounds for memorize were significantly excessive (p = 0.05) and this caused excessive errors in grounds's execution during matches and training. The grounds errors during matches ortraining, changes significantly (p = 0.03) the mood of the coach. In addition, a clinically important proportion (42.8%, p > 0.05) of the athletes are not inserted in the sport because they enjoy. The risk of early specialization identified in this study,may cause serious psychosocial and motors problems, causing early withdrawal in the sport and even abandonment of physical activities.
