Bu çalışma, felsefeyi bir bütün olarak gerçekliğin ya da insan varoluşu ve deneyimlerinin rasyonel, soyut ve metodik bir şekilde ele alınması olarak tanımlayan Hans Vaihinger’in görüşlerinin 1876’da yazdığı Sanki Felsefesi isimli eseri üzerinden değerlendirilmesi ve analiz edilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Eser, çeşitli günlük ya da bilimsel aktivitelerimiz ile ilgili görüş ve kararların oluşturulmasında kurguların merkezi önemini göstermek üzere kaleme alınmıştır, dolayısıyla eserin temel konusu kurgulardır. Kurgular, sadece insanın kavrama yetisinin üzerine temellendiği bir şey değildir, aynı zamanda yaşam ve dünyaya dair tatmin edici açıklamalar için gerekli olan her şey de kurgular üzerine temellenir. Bu nedenle gerçekte herhangi bir temeli olmasa da kurgular, Vaihinger’in belirttiği üzere insanoğlunun irrasyonel olan dünyayı rasyonel bir hale getirmek için kullandığı en önemli araçlardır.
This study aims to evaluate and analyze the opinions of Hans Vaihinger, who defined philosophy as a whole as a rational, abstract and methodical approach to reality or human existence and experiences, through his 1876 work called The Shadow of Philosophy. The work has been painted to show the central importance of the fiction in the creation of opinions and decisions concerning our various daily or scientific activities, and therefore the main subject of the work is the fiction. Curses are not just something that is based on the ability of man to understand, but all that is necessary for satisfactory explanations of life and the world is also based on fiction. Thus, although there is no foundation in reality, the fiction is the most important means the human being uses to make the irrasional world rational, as Vaihinger pointed out.
