Abstract:

This study aims to study the thesis and article studies between 2000-2017 years with content analysis in order to determine the trends of studies conducted in the use of graphic materials in mathematical education in Turkey. For this purpose research data; YÖK National Thesis Center, ULAKBIM Social Sciences Database, Google Academic, Magazine Park, Turkish Education Index (TEI), ASSOS Index scaned and transported 31 theses, 15 articles were taken into the research scope. These studies have been viewed according to the type of graphic material used, the study subjects, the learning fields, the data collection tools used, the types of sampling and the size of sampling. The concept map of the most used graphic type, the most studied subject is the success, and the learning area is the numbers and processes. The most commonly used data collection tool has been found to be a success test and the most studies are done with high school students. Using different graphic materials, it is believed that studies on durability, geometric thinking, conceptual errors in different learning fields in different sampling groups may be useful.
