Abstract:

This work is the most comprehensive work written in Turkish literature on the situation in the Middle Ages Islamic world of the libraries which hosted books and books as a means invented for the transfer of knowledge, emotions, thoughts and exchange of information. With the appearance and development of the book, this rigorous work, which stands on the magnificent characteristics of the book, together with materials such as papyrus, parchumen, paper and paint, which forms its physical structure, and the changes they spend in time, is a comprehensive entry book. Because this workbook is concerned with all forms, it also contains valuable information about the handwriting tradition. In this study, which is the seed of Erünsal's knowledge and work in the field of book and library, theoretical knowledge is found to be used as a source for about 1,000 writing works. Professor of Turkish Language and Literature Erünsal continues his scientific work in the fields of culture history, ancient Turkish literature, archivism, and library.
