Üniversite web sitelerinin kullanılabilirliği kurum imajı ve kullanım kalitesi için vazgeçilmez bir unsurdur. Bu çalışmada Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi (AİBÜ) web sitesinin öğrencilerin kullanımı açısından kullanılabilirliğinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak 20 sorudan oluşan "Website Analysis and Measurement Inventory" anketi kullanılmış ve eğitim fakültesinin değişik programlarında okuyan 169 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Veri analizinde betimlemeli istatistik ve ANOVA teknikleri kullanılmış olup AİBÜ web sitesi hakkında genel bir memnuniyetsizlik, sitede gezinmenin zor, sitenin yavaş ve kullanıcıyı rahatsız edecek özelliklere sahip olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmış ve gözlemlenen sorunların giderilmesiyle daha kullanılabilir bir üniversite web sayfası oluşturulmasına yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The availability of the university websites is an essential element for the institution's image and quality of use. This study aims to identify the availability of the website of Abant İzzet Baysal University (AIBU) in terms of the use of students. The survey "Website Analysis and Measurement Inventory" was used as a data collection tool and applied to 169 students studying in the various programs of the faculty. In data analysis, described statistics and ANOVA techniques have been used and a general dissatisfaction about the AIBU website has been suggested to create a university website that is more accessible with the findings that it is difficult to browse the site, the site has slow and the features that will disturb the user.
