Amaç: Polis Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinde Hepatit B, Hepatit C, HIV seroprevalansının araştırılması ve diğer bölgelerde yapılan araştırma sonuçları ile karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Metod: Samsun ilinde Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji polikliniğine başvuran 748 öğrencinin serumlarında HBsAg, anti HIV ve anti-HCV sonuçlarına bakıldı. HBsAg, anti-HCV tetkikleri pozitif saptanan öğrencilerden HBV-DNA ve HCV-RNA tetkikleri çalışıldı. Bulgular: Toplam 748 öğrencinin 108’i (%14.44) kız, 640’ı (%85.56) erkek, yaş ortalamaları 20.88 yıl idi.
Purpose: Police Professional High School students are intended to compare with the research of hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV seroprevalence and the research results in other areas. Method: Serums of 748 students applying to the Clinic of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology in Samsun examined HBsAg, anti-HIV and anti-HCV results. HBsAg, HBV-DNA and HCV-RNA tests were studied from students who found anti-HCV tests positive. Results: 108 of the total 748 students (14.44) were girls, 640 (85.56) men, the average age was 20.88 years. 4 (0.53) students were HBsAg positive, 1 (0.13) students were anti-HCV positive. The HBVDNA results observed from students who found HBsAg tests positive were <20 IU/ml. The anti-HCV examinations were positive and the HCVRNA examination from the student was negative. No student has an anti-HIV positive effect. The result: Our study found that hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV seroprevalence were lower in our country than other studies in similar populations in the previous years.
