Covid-19 Pandemisinde Özel Gereksinimli Çocuklar İle Çalışan Öğretmenlerde Sağlık Anksiyetesinin Tükenmişlik Üzerindeki Etkisi

Araştırmada özel gereksinimli çocuklara eğitim veren öğretmenlerin Covid-19 pandemisinde yaşadıkları sağlık anksiyetesinin tükenmişlik düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma İstanbul’daki okul öncesi dönemdeki özel gereksinimli çocuklar ile çalışan 123 öğretmen arasında yapılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sağlık Anksiyetesi Ölçeği ve Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler Bağımsız Örneklem t-Testi, ANOVA ve Regresyon Analizi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgulara göre özel gereksinimli çocuklar ile çalışan öğretmenlerin Covid-19 sürecinde yaşadığı sağlık anksiyetesinin tükenmişliği anlamlı düzeyde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak özel gereksinimli çocuklar ile çalışan öğretmenlerin sağlık anksiyetesi yükseldikçe tükenmişlik düzeyleri de yükselmektedir. Ayrıca özel gereksinimli öğrenciler ile çalışan öğretmenlerin sağlık anksiyetesi ve tükenmişlik ortalamalarının medeni duruma ve yaşa göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği ancak eğitim durumuna göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

The study aimed at studying the impact of the health anxiety of teachers who educated special needs children in the Covid-19 pandemic on the levels of exhaust. The study was conducted between 123 teachers working with special needs children in the pre-school period in Istanbul. The data collection used the Personal Information Form, the Health Anxiety Scale and the Maslach Extinction Scale. The data was analyzed using independent sample t-Test, ANOVA and Regression Analysis. The findings have found that teachers who work with special needs have a significant impact on the extinction of health anxiety experienced during the Covid-19 process. As a result, the health anxiety of teachers working with special needs children increases, the levels of exhaust also rise. It is also determined that the average health anxiety and exhaust rates of teachers working with specialized students are significantly different according to the state of civilization and age, but not significantly different according to the state of education.

In the study, it was aimed to examine the effect of health anxiety experienced by teachers who educate children with special needs on their burnout levels during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted among 123 teachers working with children with special needs in the pre-school period in Istanbul. Personal Information Form, Health Anxiety Scale and Maslach Burnout Scale were used to collect data. Data were analyzed using Independent Sample t-Test, ANOVA and Regression Analysis. According to the findings, it was determined that the health anxiety experienced by teachers working with children with special needs during the Covid-19 process significantly affected burnout. As a result, as the health anxiety of teachers working with children with special needs increases, their burnout levels also increase. In addition, it was determined that the averages of health anxiety and burnout of teachers working with students with special needs showed a significant difference according to marital status and age, but not according to educational status.
