Cumhuriyetin ilanı ile birlikte tek partili sistem ile yönetilen Türkiye’de 1946 yılına kadar CHP tek parti olarak ülkeyi yönetmiştir. 1946 yılında çok partili siyasete geçiş ile birlikte 1946-1950 yılları arasında CHP ve DP iktidar olmak için büyük çaba sarf etmişlerdir. 1946 yılında yapılan milletvekili seçimlerinde Türkiye genelinde DP çok iyi bir sınav vermese de 1950, 1954, 1957 yıllarında yapılan milletvekili seçimlerinde yarışı birinci olarak bitirmiş ve 1950-1960 yılları arasında Türkiye’nin siyasetine DP yön vermiştir. 1946 milletvekili seçimlerinde Türkiye genelinde 62 milletvekili çıkaran DP, Isparta’dan hiç milletvekili çıkaramamış ancak Türkiye genelinde DP’nin lider olduğu 1950, 1954, 1957 milletvekili seçimlerinde Isparta’da 5 milletvekilinin tamamını DP kazanmıştır. 1950-1960 yılları arasında Türkiye genelinde olduğu gibi Isparta’da da DP etkin bir siyaset ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada, çok partili siyasi hayata geçiş ile birlikte 1946-1960 yılları arasında 14 farklı kişinin milletvekilliği yaptığı Isparta’da Milletvekili seçimlerine giden süreçler, milletvekili seçim sonuçları ve milletvekili özgeçmişleri ele alınmıştır.
In Turkey, governed by the one-party system along with the proclamation of the Republic, until 1946, the CHP ruled the country as one-party. With the multi-party transition to politics in 1946, between 1946 and 1950, the CHP and the DP made a great effort to become the power. Despite the fact that the DP did not give a very good exam in all of Turkey in the parliamentary elections held in 1950, 1954, 1957 the competition ended as the first and between 1950 and 1960 it gave the DP direction to the politics of Turkey. In the 1946 parliamentary elections, the DP, which took out 62 parliamentarians throughout Turkey, did not take out any parliamentarians from Isparta, but in the 1950, 1954, 1957 parliamentary elections, where the DP was the leader throughout Turkey, the DP won all 5 parliamentarians in Isparta. Between the 1950s and 1960s, as in all of Turkey, the DP has shown an effective policy in Isparta. This study, along with the transition to multi-party political life, discussed the processes of the parliamentary elections in Isparta, where 14 different people were parliamentary between 1946 and 1960, the results of parliamentary elections and parliamentary CVs.
