SAĞLIK HİZMETLERİNİN SUNUMUNDA HASTA DOSTU KAVRAMI ÜZERİNDE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı hastanelerde sağlık hizmetleri sunumunda hastaların hasta dostu algısını ve bunu etkilen bir kısım değişkenlere göre incelemektir. Çalışmanın evrenini son bir yılda herhangi bir sağlık kurumundan sağlık hizmetinden faydalanmış, 18 yaş üstü Türkiye geneli bireyler, örneklemini ise, ankete katılmaya gönüllü olan 382 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın verilerinin toplanmasında Hasta Dostu Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde t testi ve ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre tercih edilen hasta türü arasında güven ve şefkatli iletişim boyutunda anlamlı fark bulunmaktadır. Bireylerin özel hastaneyi tercih etmesinde kamu hastanesine göre şefkatli iletişim boyutunda farklılık vardır. Üniversite hastanelerini tercih eden bireyler kamu hastanesini tercih edenlere göre daha yüksek güven boyutuna sahiptir. Sağlık hizmeti sunumunda hastanelerin hasta dostu olması bireylerin hastane tercihinde etkilidir. Bireylerin sağlık hizmeti alırken hastane tercihinde belirli kriterleri dikkate aldıkları baz alındığında, sağlık hizmetine yönelik bilgi ve farkındalık düzeylerinin arttığı sonucuna ulaşılmaktadır. Kamu hastanelerinin daha çok tercih edilmesine rağmen şefkatli iletişim ve güven noktasında bireylerin ihtiyaçlarını karşılamadığı görülmektedir. Hastaların verilen sağlık hizmeti süresinden ziyade sağlık hizmetlerinin niteliğine daha çok odaklandıkları sonucuna varılmıştır.

Not to be a patient-friendly assessment on the health services offer

The aim of this study is to examine the patient’s patient-friendly perception in the presentation of health services in hospitals and the part affected by it according to the variables. The universe of the study consists of individuals over the age of 18 who have benefited from health care from any health institution in the last year, and 382 people who have been volunteer to participate in the survey. In the collection of the data of the study, the patient-friendly scale and personal information form were used. In the analysis of the data, the t test and the ANOVA test were used. According to the findings obtained, there is a significant difference in the size of confidence and compassionate communication between the preferred type of patient. When individuals prefer a private hospital, there is a difference in the size of compassionate communication depending on the public hospital. People who prefer university hospitals have a higher degree of confidence than those who prefer public hospitals. The patient-friendly hospitals in the provision of health services are effective in the preference of individuals to hospitals. Based on the fact that individuals take medical care when taking medical care, certain criteria are taken into account in the hospital preference, the result is that the level of knowledge and awareness for health care is increased. Despite the popularity of public hospitals, it appears that in the point of compassionate communication and confidence individuals are unable to meet their needs. Patients are more focused on the quality of their health care than on the period of their health care.

The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of patients on the concept of patient-friendliness in the provision of health services in hospitals and some variables that affect it. The population of the study consists of individuals over the age of 18 who have benefited from health services from any health institution in the last year, and the sample consists of 386 participants who volunteered to participate in the survey. Patient-Friendly Scale and Personal Information Form were used to collect the data of the study. T test and ANOVA test were used in the analysis of the data. There is a significant difference between the preferred hospital type in terms of trust and compassionate communication. There is a difference in the dimension of compassionate communication compared to the public hospital in individuals' preference for a private hospital. Individuals who prefer university hospitals have a higher level of trust than those who prefer public hospitals. The patient-friendliness of the hospitals in the provision of health services is significant in the hospital preference of the individuals. Considering that individuals take into account certain criteria in choosing a hospital while receiving health care, it is concluded that their level of knowledge and awareness about health care has increased. Although public hospitals are more preferred, it is seen that they do not meet the needs of individuals in terms of compassionate communication and trust. It can be concluded that patients focus more on the quality of health services rather than the duration of health care provided.
