İnsan ilişkilerinin yoğun olması ve arzu edilen çalışan motivasyonunun sağlanması açısından turizm sektöründe etik değerler çok önemlidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı turizm sektörünün en önemli paydaşlarından biri olan turist rehberlerinin seyahat işletmeleriyle yaşadıkları etik dışı sorunları tespit etmektir. Araştırmada ÇARO’ya bağlı 19 profesyonel turist rehberiyle görüşme sağlanmıştır. Örneklem olarak kartopu örneklem yöntemi seçilmiştir. Görüşmeler 10 Ocak 2022-15 Mart 2022 tarihleri arasında yüz yüze gerçekleştirilmiştir. Rehberlere acentalarla arasında tur öncesi, tur esnasında, tur sonrasında ve genel olarak maruz kaldıkları ve şahit oldukları etik dışı davranışlar hakkında sorular sorulmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgularda ise rehberler ile acentalar arasındaki etik dışı sorunların en fazla ücret konusunda olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Diğer karşılaşılan etik dışı davranışlar ise acentaların tur programına müdahele etmesi ve rehberlik mesleğine saygı göstermemesi olarak tekrarlanmıştır. Etik dışı davranışlara karşı yapılan denetimlerin eşit ve kimseyi kayırmadan uygulanması ve bu sorunlara karşı etik bir kurul oluşturulması etik dışı davranışların önüne geçilmesi gerekmektedir.
Ethical values are very important in the tourism sector in terms of intense human relations and providing the desired employee motivation. The main purpose of this research is to identify the unethical behavours of travel businesses against tour guides who are one of the most important stakeholders of the tourism industry. It has been interviewed with 19 professional tour guides of CARO. Snowball sampling method was applied to get the data. The interviews were held face to face between 10 January 2022 and 15 March 2022. The guides were asked questions about the unethical behaviors that they witnessed before, during, and after the tours and in general with the agencies. it was found that the most unethical problems between the guides and the agencies were about the wages. Other unethical behaviors encountered are, travel businesses try to change tour programme in any time and not respecting the guidance profession. For preventing unethical behaviours between travel businesses and tour guides, a committee should be formed and given equal control of unethical behavior.
