Nübüvvet meselesi İslâm kelâmının ulûhiyyet, nübüvvet ve âhiret olarak sıralanan üçlü tasnifinin ikincisi konumunda dinin en temel esaslarından biridir. Bu konu düşünce tarihimiz boyunca kelâm âlimlerinin gündeminde olmuştur. İlk dönemlerde Berâhime’nin görüşlerine karşı başlayan nübüvvet savunusu sonraki dönemlerde ise Dehriler, Tabiatçı filozoflar ve mülhidlere karşı yapılagelmiştir. Bunun yanında İslâm düşüncesi içerisinde de özellikle İşrâkî Filozoflar ve bir kısım müfrit mutasavvıfların nübüvvet meselesine sorunlu yaklaşımları konunun bir kelâm problemi olarak güncelliğini korumasına neden olmuştur. Yeni İlm-i Kelâm dönemine gelindiğinde ise pozitivist yaklaşımlar karşısında mûcizenin hakikatini ve nübüvvet meselesini savunma çabaları öne çıkmıştır. Mustafa Fevzi Efendi bu makalesinde meseleyi tasavvuf, felsefe ve bilim açısından ele almaktadır. Düşünürümüzün kendi yaşadığı dönemdeki bilimsel gelişmelerden faydalanarak meseleyi izah etmeye çalışması ve mûcizeler yerine akla ve bilimsel gelişmeler üzerinde tefekküre dikkat çekmesi anlamlıdır. Bu çerçevede insanın acziyetine de vurgu yapan Mustafa Fevzi Efendi, nübüvvet meselesinin bir iman meselesi olduğunu ifade etmektedir. Sonuç olarak peygamberliğin hakikatini inkâr etmeye kalkışmanın aklî ve ilmî olmadığını vurgulamaktadır.
This is one of the most basic principles of religion in the second place of the triangle classified as the ulûhiyyet, nûbüvvet and the past. This thought has been on the agenda of our history. In the early periods, the defensive against the views of Berâhime began, and in the subsequent periods, the defensive against the Dehris, the Natural Philosophers and the Maldives. In addition, in the Islamic thought, especially the Occupational Philosophers and some of the Mufrit mutasavvists have caused their problematic approaches to the issue of nubuvet to preserve the actuality of the subject as a word problem. When it comes to the New Islamic Period, the efforts to defend the truth of the Muslim and the question of the nobleevity have emerged in the face of positive approaches. Mustafa Fevzi Efendi in this article discusses the issue from the point of view of tasavvuf, philosophy and science. It is meaningful that our thought tries to explain the matter by taking advantage of the scientific developments in the period in which it lived, and instead of miracles, to draw attention to the intellectual and scientific developments. In this context, Mustafa Fevzi Efendi, who also emphasizes the affliction of man, states that the issue of nubuvet is a matter of faith. The issue of prophethood is one of the most basic principles of religion in the second position of the triple classification of Islamic theology, which is listed as divinity, prophethood and the hereafter. This issue has been on the agenda of scholars of kalām throughout our history of thought. The defence of prophethood, which started against the views of Barāhima, was made against the Dahrīs, naturalist philosophers, and atheists in the following periods. In addition, the problematic approaches of especially ishrāqī philosophers and some extremist mystics to the issue of prophethood in Islamic thought caused the issue to be up to date as a problem of theology. When it came to the period of the New Kalām, efforts to defend the truth of miracles and the issue of prophethood came to the fore against positivist approaches. In this article, Mustafa Fevzi Efendi deals with the issue in terms of mysticism, philosophy and science. It is meaningful that our thinker tries to explain the issue by making use of the scientific developments in his own time and draws attention to the mind and contemplation on scientific developments instead of miracles. In this context, Mustafa Fevzi Efendi, who also emphasizes the helplessness of human beings, states that the issue of prophethood is a matter of faith. As a result, he emphasizes that it is not rational and scientific to try to deny the truth of prophethood.
