COVID-19 PANDEMİ DÖNEMİNDE ÖZ DİSİPLİN VE PSİKOLOJİK SAĞLAMLIĞIN İŞ PERFORMANSINA ETKİSİ

Abstract:

Bireyler kişilik özellikleri bakımından farklılaşmaktadır. Özellikle içinde bulunulan pandemi dönemi her bireyi farklı bir şekilde etkilemiş ve olumlu/olumsuz sonuçlar ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, COVID-19 pandemi dönemi sebebiyle kısmen ya da tam zamanlı evden çalışanların öz disiplin ve psikolojik sağlamlık düzeylerinin iş performansına olan etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma kapsamında Batı Akdeniz Bölgesi’nde yer alan üniversitelerde idari personel olarak görev yapan 328 kişi yer almaktadır. SPSS ve AMOS programları kullanılarak veriler analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın hipotezleri yapısal eşitlik modeli kurularak test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre çalışanların öz disiplin ve psikolojik sağlamlık düzeyi ile iş performansı arasında pozitif anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yüksek öz disiplin ve psikolojik sağlamlık düzeyi çalışanların iş performansını arttırmaktadır.

The impact of self-discipline and psychological well-being on work performance during the COVID-19 pandemic period

Abstract:

Individuals differ in terms of personality. The pandemic period in particular has affected each individual in a different way and has shown positive/negative results. The aim of this study is to reveal the impact of self-discipline and psychological stability levels of part or full-time household workers due to the COVID-19 pandemic period on work performance. The study included 328 people working as administrative staff at universities in the Western Mediterranean Region. Data is analyzed using SPSS and AMOS programs. The hypotheses of the study have been tested by setting up a structural equality model. The research finds that there is a positive meaningful relationship between employees’ self-discipline and their level of psychological stability and their work performance. The high level of self-discipline and psychological stability improves the work performance of employees.
