Özet:

INTRODUCTION: In this study, it was aimed to investigate the clinical features of Behçet disease (BD ) with vascular involvement. METHODS: Between November 2010 and October 2019, 40 (5%) of 800 BD patients with vascular involvement was found in 40 (5%) of 800 patients who were followed-up with Behçet's disease in our hospital's Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic. The sociodemographic and clinical features of the patients were reached through the file notes and automation system. Descriptive statistics were made, and mean value, standard deviation and percentages were calculated for each clinical finding. The patient group was divided into groups by the two-step clustering method. RESULTS: 87.5% of the patients were male, and their age was 35.5years. The most common features accompanying vascular involvement were oral ulcer, genital ulcer, and papulopustular lesions. Venous involvement was found in 95% of the patients, arterial and venous involvement was detected in 10% and 5% of the patients. As a result of two-step cluster analysis, two clusters were determined; While cluster 1 was isolated from lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (90.9%) in terms of vascular involvement, cluster 2 had dural sinus thrombosis (54.4%), arterial involvement, and higher central nervous system involvement. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Conclusion In our study, it was determined that vascular involvement was more common in young men, and the frequency of vascular involvement increased with the duration of the disease. In particular, two types of vascular involvement patterns were determined; The group with the first isolated deep vein thrombosis and the group where the second deep vein thrombosis was added dural sinus thrombosis, arterial involvement, and CNS involvement. As a result, the development of a new vascular involvement in addition to deep vein thrombosis increases the risk of involvement of other vascular structures or CNS.
