Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed to examine and introduce the writing, sound, form and vocabulary of the prose work İblîs Hakkında Risâle. İblîs Hakkında Risâle is registered in the Collection of Kütahya Vahidpaşa Provincial Public Library, under the name Treatise on the Iblis at 43 Va 2179. In İblîs Hakkında Risâle, there is no information about the author and the record of copying. İblîs Hakkında Risâle. which is written in a regular and legible naskh calligraphy, the letters are shown with gestures regularly. Vowels in words are written using both letters and vowels. İblîs Hakkında Risâle is one of the stand-alone stories written about Iblis in Turkish literature. Stories with similar themes can also be included in various religious works written in Turkish literature. The work has been translated from Arabic to Turkish. In the Risale, who came to visit Prophet Muhammad (sav), He answers the questions of Muhammad (sav) about his ummah. In the work, there are conversations about what Iblis likes and dislikes in general. In the work, which has a religious content, mostly Arabic words are used for religious terms. In İblîs Hakkında Risâle, some suffixes used in Old Oghuz Turkish and found to be used in later periods were used. Although there are examples out of harmony in the work, it has been seen that the examples that have entered into harmony are in the majority. Although İblîs Hakkında Risâle is a short text, many spelling, sound and stylistic features that can be studied in a voluminous work can be exemplified. In the text, she can exemplify the religious terms of Turkish, the old words of Turkish and the richness of idioms. This study will make important contributions to Turkish prose language.
