Çalışmanın amacı, Akılcı Duygusal Davranış Terapi (ADDT) temelli, 2010-2022 yılları arasında Türkiye’de yapılmış araştırma makalelerini derleyerek tematik çıkarım elde etmektir. Çalışma, olgu sunumu, öğrenci ve yetişkin bireylere dönük ADDT odaklı çalışmaların incelenmesinden oluşan içerik analizi çalışmasıdır. Çalışmada makalenin yılı, çalışma grubu, çalışmanın türü, yazarları, çalışmanın amacı ve bulgulardan yararlanılarak tematik çıkarım elde edilmiştir. Makalelere erişimse Dergipark veritabanından ve TR Dizin üzerinden sağlanmıştır. Arama kısmına ‘Akılcı Duygusal yaklaşım, Akılcı Duygusal eğitim ve Rasyonel Duygucu eğitim’ yazılmış ve akıllı sıralama yöntemiyle eğitim alanında yapılmış makaleler seçilerek çalışmaya 50 makale dahil edilmiştir. Seçilecek makalelerin çalışmaya dahil edilme yöntemi olaraksa çalışmalarda ADDT yöntem ve tekniklerinin kullanılmış olması, makaleye ücretsiz ulaşabilme, eğitim alanında yapılmış olması ve makalenin 2010-2022 yılları arasında yayınlanmış olma şartıdır. Analiz sonucunda ADDT temelli çalışmaların 38 adetle son beş yılda daha fazla yapılmış olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmaların 9’u deneysel, 1’i nitel durum çalışması 1’i film analizi, 1’i derleme ve 38 tanesi tarama çalışması olup; çalışmaların 36’sı öğrencilerle, 13’ü yetişkinlerle, 1 tanesi de film incelemesidir. Bulgular incelendiğinde akılcı olmayan inançların depresyon, kaygı, stres gibi duygusal durumlar üzerindeki etkisinden meslek seçimine kadar pek çok noktada bireyin yaşamında etkili olduğu ve ADDT odaklı eğitim programlarının da akılcı olmayan inançları azaltmada etkili sonuçlar verdiği yönündedir.
The aim of this study is to compile research articles based on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) conducted in Turkey between 2010 and 2022 and to draw thematic inferences. This is a content analysis study, which consists of examination of studies using REBT for students and adults. In the study, thematic inference was made using the criteria of the year of the article, study group, type of study, purpose of the study and findings. The articles were accessed through the Dergipark database and TR index. 'Rational Emotive Approach, Rational Emotive Education and Rational Emotive Education' were written in the search section and 50 articles were included in the study by selecting articles in the field of education using the smart sorting method. The criteria for the inclusion of the articles to be selected in the study were the use of REBT methods and techniques in the studies, free access to the article, being in the field of education, and the article being published between 2010-2022. The analysis showed that REBT-based studies were conducted more in the last five years with 38 studies. 9 of the studies were experimental, 1 was a qualitative case study, 1 review, 1 movie analysis and 38 were survey (quantitative) studies; 36 of the studies were conducted with students and 13 with adults. When the findings were examined, we found that irrational beliefs were effective in the lives of individuals at many points from their effects on emotional states such as depression, anxiety, stress to the choice of profession, but that REBT-oriented training programs were also very effective in reducing irrational beliefs.
