Abstract:

Scientific research is the process of gathering evidence by questioning the secret of events in nature. In this context, the project mystery "Nature_Lab: Nature Survey Based Science" aims to transform science into a fun learning/discovery event by adapting to events in nature. The project aims to increase interest and interest in science and scientist, and to develop questioning learning skills, with scientific activities based on questioning in nature, that students perceive events and phenomena from a scientific perspective. To these goals, 24 high school 8th-class students and 12 science-knowledge teachers candidates who studied in different universities were camped in the Yozgat National Park. The campwork is covered by a period of 7 days, with the participation of 36 students and teachers candidates. The camp program has included bio-diversity, climate change, water life, energy in nature, pollutants in the framework of the subjects question-based scientific activities. The project is conducted by action research method. In this study, the data obtained from the DAST and the Scientist's Opinion Survey were analyzed as the project's secondary school students studied the impact on the scientist's images and opinions. Nicel data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test from non-parametric tests in the SPSS 20 program, while the quality data was subject to content analysis. The study found that there was no significant difference in the students' gender, their studies and their personality, feelings, characteristics and thoughts about the working life before and after the camp. However, it appears that the traditional views of the scientist about his age, gender and social activities have changed in a positive direction.
