The inhibition behavior of Morus Nigra Pendula leaf extraction (MNPYE) has been studied using linear polarization resistance (LPR), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarization techniques for soft steel (YC) as a green corrosion in different concentrations in 0.5 M HCI solution. EIS measurements have shown that with the increased concentration of MNPYE in the acid solution, the load transfer resistance has increased and the double layer capacity has decreased. Polarization measurements have shown that MNPYE is a mixed type of inhibitor that reduces both the anodic and catodic flow intensity values. Adsorption on the surface of the MNPYE components was characterized by data from the Scream Electron Microscope (SEM).
The inhibition behavior of Morus Nigra Pendula leave extract (MNPYE) as a green corrosion inhibitor in 0.5 M HCI solution at dissimilar concentrations for mild steel (MS) was investigated using methods such as linear polarization resistance (LPR), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarization techniques. EIS measurements have shown that the rising concentration of MNPYE in the acid solution increments the charge transfer resistance and diminishes the double layer capacitance. Polarization measurements have shown that MNPYE is a mixed-type inhibitor which dıminishes both anodic and cathodic current density values. The adsorption of MNPYE components on the MS surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) data.
