İnsanın “erginlik” ve insanlığın “aydınlanma” durumunun gerçekleşmesi yani “insanın aklını başkasının rehberliği olmaksızın kullanabilmesi” doğru bilgilerle donanmış olmasına bağlıdır. Bunu sağlayacak olan ise insan yetiştirme yöntemleri ve eğitim sistemleridir. İnsan yetiştirme sistemleriyle bunlara ilişkin felsefi tutum ve yaklaşımlar sürekli etkileşim içerisinde olmuşlardır. Filozoflar, toplumun birçok sorunu içinde eğitimle ilgili de birtakım düşünceler öne sürmüşlerdir. Toplumların eğitim ile ilgili anlayış ve uygulamalarının değerlendirilmesi, sağlıklı bir eğitim geleneğinin oluşturulması ve değişen şartlara uyumunun sağlanması gibi açılardan eğitim düşünür ve filozofların görüşleri önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu bağlamda Yükseköğretim ve burada verilecek eğitim “insan eğitilmesi gereken tek varlıktır” anlayışına sahip Immanuel Kant açısından henüz aydınlanmamış çağın aydınlanmış çağa dönüşmesi için önemli bir işlev ve konuma sahiptir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada Kant’ın hem bir akademisyen ve Aydınlanma dönemi filozofu hem de Jean-Jacques Rousseau gibi aydınlanma pedagojisinin temsilcilerinin düşüncelerinden etkilenmiş olması nedeniyle onun “Hochschuldidaktik” yani Yükseköğretimde “öğretim yöntemleri ve farkındalığı”yla ilgili düşüncelerinin tespiti ve değerlendirilmesi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.
It depends on the fact that the human being has the "tension" and the "illumination" state, which means that "the human mind can be used without the guidance of someone else" is equipped with the right information. This will be achieved by the methods of human education and educational systems. The philosophical attitudes and approaches to human education systems have been constantly in interaction. The philosophers have also suggested a number of ideas about education in many issues of society. The assessment of the understanding and practices of societies in relation to education, the creation of a healthy educational tradition and the ensuring compliance with the changing conditions, education is thoughtful and the views of philosophers have an important place. In this context, Higher Education and education that will be given here, with the understanding of "human being is the only being to be educated", Immanuel Kant has an important role and position in the transformation of the not yet illuminated age into an illuminated age. Therefore, in this study, Kant was influenced by the thoughts of both an academic and the philosopher of the Age of Enlightenment and the representatives of the pedagogics of enlightenment such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and he tried to identify and evaluate his thoughts on "Hochschuldidactics" or "Teaching Methods and Consciousness" in Higher Education.
The realization of the state of "adulthood" and "enlightenment" of humanity, in other words, “the ability of a human to use their mind without the guidance of someone else” depends on being equipped with accurate knowledge. What will provide this is human training methods and education systems. Since the ancient philosophers, the relationship between education and philosophy has been tried to be established and a serious accumulation of knowledge and practice has been formed in this field. In this respect, philosophers, put forward some ideas about education among many problems of the society as well. Hence, the views of thinkers and philosophers have an important place in terms of evaluating the understanding and practices of societies regarding education establishing a healthy educational tradition and adapting to changing conditions. In this regard, Higher Education and the education to be given here have a significant function and position for Kant, who has the understanding of "human being is the only creature that must be educated", for the transformation of the not yet enlightened age into the enlightened age. Therefore, in this study, due to the fact that Kant was influenced by the ideas of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, both an academic and Enlightenment philosopher and typical representatives of Enlightenment pedagogy, it has been tried to determine and evaluate Kant's ideas on "University didactics" in other words; his ideas on "teaching methods and awareness" in Higher Education has a particular importance.
