Abstract:

Günümüzde olduğu gibi eski dönemlerde de Türkler sosyal siyaset alanında çeşitli uygulamalar sahibi olmuş, bununla ilgili de hem yazıtlar hem de destan, masal gibi sözlü edebiyat kaynaklarında çok sayıda iz bırakmışlardır. Bunların incelenip gün ışığına çıkarılması ve günümüzde bu alandaki durumla kıyaslanması çok önemli bir alan temsil etmektedir. Bu araştırmada da bu alan üzerinde Türkçe, eski Türkçe, Hakasça, Rusça ve İngilizce kaynakların yardımıyla durulmuştur.
