Abstract:

This survey was made to aim for examining and comparing the goalkepers who are strungling in the province of muğla BAL league and Super Ameteur league, differences in reaction times. In this research 15 active goal keepers have volunteered from 2 teams which represent Muğla in the BAL league and 8 teams which strungle in Ametuer league in 2012-2013 season. The reaction of goalkeeper’s mesuraments are determined with the device which is named with New-test 1000.In the 1ststageright and left handreaction timeto light, In the 2nd phasethe sound of thereaction to theleft and right handvalues and inthe last stagewhich has beenshown both reactions tolight and sounddata were recorded. SPSS (version 16) program was used in the statistical calculations. Frequency and percentage values are taken. Goalkeepers’s average ages are 24.8 ± 3.39 years; average heights are 1.85 ± 3.2 cm; mean 82.2 ± 4.2 kg of body weight were found to be. Considering the reaction values of the goalkeepers, the avarage reaction volume of left handagainst the light 0,275±0,1; the avarage reaction volume of right hand against light 0,243±0,1; the avarage reaction volume of left hand against sound 0,258±0,1; the avarage reaction volume of right hand against sound 0.251±0.1; the avarage mixed reactions volume of right hand 0,251±0,1; the avarage mixed reaction volume of left hand 0,260±0,1 were found to be. As a result, the goalkeepers’s who are strungling in teams in BAL league and other ametur leagues, reaction times are lower than previous studies, beceuse of the individual charecteristics of athletes and due to their training status.
