Bu çalışma, açık ceza infaz kurumlarında hükümlü kadınların dindarlıkları ile affetme eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi yaş, eğitim, medeni durum, ikamet, açık ceza infaz kurumuna girme nedeni ve açık ceza infaz kurumunda kalış süresi, tekrarlı suç işleme şeklindeki değişkenler açısından incelemiştir. Araştırmada “Ok-Dini Tutum Ölçeği” ile “Affetme Eğilimi Ölçeği” veri toplamak aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Veriler, Korelasyon, Anova ve Frekans analiz yöntemleriyle analiz edilmiştir ve şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: Katılımcıların affetme eğilimi açısından “öç alma” dini tutum ölçeği açısından ise, “ilişki” boyutu, en yüksek ortalamaya sahiptir. Dindarlık ile sosyo-demografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyle ilgili olarak ise sadece biliş ve davranış boyutuyla açık ceza infaz kurumuna giriş nedeni arasında anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Affetme ve sosyo-demografik değişkenler açısından ise yaş değişkeni ile öç alma ve uzaklaşma boyutu arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki vardır. Açık ceza ve infaz evlerinde kalış süresiyle iyimserlik boyutu dışında affetme eğiliminin tüm boyutları arasında negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Affetme eğilimi ile dindarlık arasındaysa anlamlı bir ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır.
This study examined the relationship between the religiosity of convicted women in open penal institutions and their tendency to forgive in terms of age, education, marital status, residence, reason for admission to open penal institution, duration of stay in open penal institution, and repetitive crime. In the study, "Ok-Religious Attitude Scale" and "Forgiveness Tendency Scale" were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed using Correlation, Anova, and Frequency analysis methods and the following results were obtained: “Taking revenge” in terms of the participants' tendency to forgive; In terms of religious attitude scale, the "relationship" dimension has the highest average. Regarding the relationship between religiosity and socio-demographic variables, a significant relationship was found between only the dimensions of cognition and behavior and the reason for entering the open penal institution. In terms of forgiveness and socio-demographic variables, there is a positive significant relationship between the age variable and the revenge and alienation dimension. A significant negative correlation was found between the duration of stay in open prisons and execution houses and all dimensions of the tendency to forgive except optimism. No significant relationship was found between the tendency to forgive and religiousness.
