Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the socio-demographic findings and developmental levels of zero-six years old children in foster care and to compare with the children who lives with their parents. Method: In this study 46 children living in foster care zero-six years old unit and 46 children who live with their parents were enrolled. The socio-demographic findings, problem behaviors were examined with a form that is composed by the researchers and the developmental levels of children were determined by Ankara Developmental Screening Inventory. Result: The developmental delay in the children that are living in foster care is more significant than are living with own parents (p<0.001). The problem behaviors such as biting, breath holding spell, swinging, anger period striking head, stuttering is significant in the children that are living in foster care (p<0.05). Conclusion: The children living in foster care have developmental and behavioral problems and they must be supported in these areas
