The Risale-i Nur is the main religious source for the Nur students. In Nursi’s time; their access to reading and studying the Risale was very important for them while they were deprived from all other religious sources. The Risale-i Nur is the reason behind their high morals and distinguished behavior. Unfortunately, most people became separated from previous generations of Turks and from all sources of Islam due to the removal of the Arabic script and its conversion to Latin. The original Arabic script had evaded them as a result of the actions of the aggressive secularists in power. Thus, they were separated from the Qur'an and from every book written in Arabic. The Risale-i Nur then became their only source and unique reference to which they would refer in order to understand the truths of faith. It is by the blessing and favor of God Almighty that the Risale with its Qur'anic spirit has succeeded in holding the hands of its students and shifting their faith from being traditional to proven and real. It also elevated them to know God Almighty. Thanks to this true faith that evolves in the heart of the Risale-i Nur's reader, he is born anew. The reader who reaches this state of belief feels the real meaning of being with God, that God is always present looking at him and caring about him. The reason behind this state of faith is the pure pillars of faith that are transmitted throughout the Risale-i Nur from Nursi to his readers. Those essentials of faith are not merely pure theoretical science, nor are they plain perceptions of mind. On the contrary, Nursi transmits his own Qur'anic entity to his reader through a cosmic and universal rich experience, dissolved in the Qur'ran.Thus, the lessons of the Risale-i Nur are alive and vital contemporary Qur'anic lessons. Between its lines there abides a miraculous secret that reforms the human being and shapes his soul again through its Qur'anic way and via self purification and remembrance of the Hereafter - protecting it from negligence. The Risale-i Nur contemplates and meditates on these important issues. That is why it was successful in gaining acceptance from its readers. For that reason also, the Risale-i Nur effectively purifies the mind of its reader, moves his heart , illuminates his soul and awakens his conscious – so that he becomes a true servant of the Qur’an and defender of faith throughout all his actions. Key words: Risale-i Nur, Human Purpose, Qur’anic Lessons, Nur Students, Faith  – ملخص البحث – إحسـان قاسـم الصـالحي إن رسائل النور هي المصدر الديني الوحيد لطلاب النور، فقد عكفوا عليها يقرأونها ويتدارسونها بعدما حيل بينهم وبين جميع المصادر الدينية، فهي مكمن السر وراء أخلاقهم العالية وسلوكاتهم الرفيعة. لقد حيل بين الأجيال السابقة من الأتراك وبين مصادر الإسلام كافة وذلك بتغيير الحروف العربية إلى اللاتينية، كما حيل بينهم وبين القرآن الكريم وبين كل ما كتب بالحرف العربي... فغدت رسائل النور لهم المصدر الوحيد والمرجع الفريد لاستلهام حقائق الإيمان. وبفضل اللّٰه سبحانه وتعالى استطاعت هذه الرسائل بروحها القرآنية أن تأخذ بأيدي طلابها من الإيمان التقليدي إلى الإيمان التحقيقي والعروج بهم إلى معرفة اللّٰه سبحانه وتعالى. وبفضل هذا الإيمان التحقيقي الذي تبعثه الرسائل في نفس قارئها تجعله وكأنه ولد من جديد، فهو دائما يشعر وكأنه بمعية اللّٰه وأنه دائما حاضر وناظر إليه لا يلهيه عنه أي شيء، كل هذا بسبب ما ينقله الأستاذ إلى قراء الرسائل من أركان إيمانية محضة التي ليست علوما نظرية مجردة، أو تصورات ذهنية باردة، وإنما ينقل لهم كيانه القرآني في تجربة كونية معرفية خصبة جداً، ذائبة في القرآن الكريم. فرسائل النور إذن هي دروس قرآنية توافق هذا العصر تتفجر حيوية وتتدفق أفكاراً حارة، بهذا فهي تخبئ في طياتها سرا عجيباً يصوغ الإنسان صياغة جديدة وذلك باتباعها سلوك المنهج القرآني في تزكية النفس ومحاسبتها وتذكيرها دوما بالآخرة وحمايتها من الغفلة، فكانت هذه الأمور التي أشارت إليها رسائل النور هي عوامل نجاحها وتقبلها من سائر القراء، لذلك فهي تفعل فعلها في تطهير ذهن القارئ وتحريك قلبه وتوجيه عقله وتنبيه روحه فيصبح خادماً حقاً للقرآن ومدافعا عن حقائق الإيمان في جميع تصرفاته. 
