İbadetlerde olduğu gibi, günlük hayatta da sağ taraf önemsenmelidir. Kurʼân’da sağ taraftakiler anlamında kullanılan ashâbü’l-meymene ve ashâbü’l-yemîn ifadelerinden sonra meymene ve yemîn sahiplerine verilen mükâfat ve nimetler sayılmıştır. Sünnette de Hz. Peygamber sağ tarafa önem vermiş, başta ibadetler olmak üzere ibadetlerin dışında da sağ tarafı öne almıştır. Üstelik toplum tarafından hoş karşılanan eylem ve durumların tümünde özellikle sağ tarafın kullanılmasını tavsiye ve teşvik etmiştir. Sahâbe de, Hz. Peygamber’in bu noktadaki hassasiyetini göz önünde bulundurarak, sağ tarafa önem vermiş ve ilgili hadisleri uygulama noktasında titizlik göstermiştir. Daha sonraki fakihler de, konuyla alakalı rivayet edilen hadisleri referans göstererek, sağ tarafla ilgili hükümleri belirlemişlerdir. Bu çalışmada Arapça kavramlar olan yemîn, teyâmün, yesâr ve şimâl kavramlarının tarifi ele alınacak, bunların Kurʼân ve sünnetteki yerine vurgu yapılacaktır. Daha sonra sağ tarafın ibadetler dışındaki fıkhî yönüne ve buna verilen öneme değinilecektir. Sağ elle yemek ve içmek konusunun yanı sıra; giyinmek, taranmak, heladan çıkmak ve camiye girmek gibi konuların sağ tarafla yapılmasının hükmüne işaret edilecek, ayrıca İslam ulemasının sağ tarafa olan yaklaşımlarına ve günlük hayattaki uygulamalarına değinilecektir.

In addition to the topic of eating and drinking with the right hand, the judgment of the issues such as dressing, scanning, getting out of the holy and entering the mosque will be pointed out, and the right-hand approaches of the Islamic Ulema and practices in everyday life will be pointed out.
