ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN MOTİVASYONEL DİNDARLIK DÜZEYLERİNİN YAŞ VE CİNSİYET DEĞİŞKENLERİNE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Yapılan bu araştırmada üniversite öğrencilerinin yaş ve cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre motivasyonel dindarlık düzeylerinin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya Adnan Menderes Üniversitesinin farklı fakültelerinde öğrenim gören 288 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin dindarlık düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde “Motivasyonel Dindarlık Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analiz sürecinde SPSS 22.0 programında frekans analizi, Independent t test ve One Way ANOVA analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda üniversite öğrencilerinde motivasyonel dindarlık düzeyinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaş grubu değişkenine göre ele alındığı zaman üniversite öğrencilerinin motivasyonel dindarlık düzeylerinin yaş gruplarına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur (p>0.05). Cinsiyet değişkenine göre ele alındığı zaman ise öğrencilerin motivasyonel dindarlık düzeylerinin cinsiyetlerine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir (p<0.05). Elde edilen bulgulara göre erkek öğrencilerin motivasyonel dindarlık düzeylerinin kadın öğrencilerden daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, üniversite öğrencilerinde motivasyonel dindarlık düzeyinin yüksek olduğu ve dindarlık düzeyi üzerinde cinsiyetin önemli bir belirleyici olduğu söylenebilir.

Abstract:

This study is aimed at comparing motivational religious levels of university students according to age and gender variables. The study included 288 students studying at different faculties of Adnan Menderes University. The "Motivational Religion Scale" was used to determine the levels of religiousness of the students involved in the study. In the process of analysis of the data obtained, the SPSS 22.0 program used the frequency analysis, the Independent t test and the One Way ANOVA analysis. At the end of the study it was found that the level of motivational religiousness in university students was high. When treated by age group variable, it was found that the motivational levels of religiousity of university students did not differ significantly according to age groups (p>0.05). When treated by gender variable, it is determined that the motivational levels of religiousness of students differ significantly by gender (p<0.05). The findings have found that the motivational levels of male students are higher than the levels of female students. As a result, it can be said that the level of motivational religiousness in university students is high and that gender is an important determinant over the level of religiousness.
