Abstract:

Waste treatment facilities are established to reduce the damage of used water to the environment and ensure the continuity of our water resources. Home quality waste is processed using different processes and technologies. Today, the most common systems used in household waste treatment are biological systems such as active rubber, stabilization swimming pools, dropling filters and aneorobic treatment. It is important to optimize the existing processes for household waste with different characteristics or to use appropriate processing technologies taking into account the conditions of the area. Insufficiency of feasibility studies, along with type project applications and project errors, mechanical, electrical, construction-related problems, waste treatment facilities create problems. To the desired quality in the output water and reduce the operating costs in the facility, the errors made in the design, construction and operating stages should be minimized. In this study, the general characteristics of the 6 waste treatment facilities, including Iskele, Edremit, Gevaş, Başkale, Çelebibağ and Gölağzı, which served the Van province and currently operating, were first examined on the basis of the operating problems in the province and the solutions proposals for them were evaluated.
