Bu araştırmanın amacı; 7. sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersi “Denetleyici ve Düzenleyici Sistemler” konusunun eğitsel oyun entegre edilmiş işbirlikli öğrenme modeli ile öğretiminin öğrencilerin fen öğrenimine yönelik motivasyonları ve sosyal beceri düzeyleri üzerine etkisini tespit etmeye yöneliktir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Erzurum ilinin bir ilçe merkezinde MEB’e bağlı bir ortaokulun yedinci sınıfının iki şubesinde öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 54 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Bu şubelerden biri eğitsel oyun entegre edilmiş işbirlikli öğrenme modelinin uygulandığı Deney Grubu n=27 ; ikincisi MEB tarafından önerilen programa dayalı öğretimin uygulandığı Kontrol Grubu n=27 olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Fen Öğrenimi Motivasyon Ölçeği FMÖ ve Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği SBÖ uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizi aşamasında bağımsız gruplar t-Testinden yararlanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin FMÖ ve SBÖ öntest puanları arasında anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı; uygulama sonunda eğitsel oyun entegre edilmiş işbirlikli öğrenme modelinin uygulandığı öğrencilerin fen öğrenimine yönelik motivasyonlarının ve sosyal beceri düzeylerinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur.
This research was carried out to detect the effect of educational games integrated cooperative learning model on students’ motivation toward science learning and social skills in the teaching of the seventh grade science course “Supervisory and Regulatory Systems” subject. The sample of research consisted of 54 students educational games integrated copperative learning model N= 27 program based instruction recommended by MEB N=27 who continued seventh grade in Ministry of Education 2015-2016 academic years in Erzurum. Pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design located in experimental research models was used in this research. As data collection instruments in the research Students’ Motivation toward Science Learning Questionnaire MTSQ and Social Skills Scale SSS were performed. Independent samples t-Test were benefitted in data analysis process. It was reached that there is not a significant difference between students’ MTSQ and SSS pretest scores. It was found that students’ motivation toward science learning and social skills in educational games integrated cooperative learning are significantly higher at the end of application
