Abstract:

As a result of the reform work on education in Turkey started since 2003, the teaching programs of all courses have been reorganized according to the understanding of structural learning. The purpose of this research is to reveal the level of adoption of practices related to teaching, classroom communication, classroom management, evaluation and physical condition, according to the opinions of the teachers of the Science and Technology course. The study, in the 2006-2007 educational year, participated 429 teachers who entered the course of Science and Technology in 70 primary schools in 14 provinces. In the study, the data was collected using the answers given by the teachers in the Likert type survey. In the analysis of the data obtained, the frequency, percentage and arithmetic average were used. According to the results of this study, the teachers have been found to accept high levels of educational teaching activities, classroom communication and classroom management activities, evaluation activities and activities related to the use of the physical environment.
