The right to life is the most fundamental right regulated in the European Convention on Human Rights. In case of insuffi cient protection of this right, other rights and freedoms enshrined in the Convention become meaningless. There are negative and positive obligations loaded on states to protect the right to life. Supervising the fulfi lment of these obligations is a signifi cant responsibility for the administrative jurisdiction. This control is generally carried out through full remedy actions in administrative judiciary. However, the right to life also may arise over the course of annulment actions. Whereas the administrative judiciary fails to fulfi l the responsibility of supervision effectively, the European Court of Human Rights could decide that the right has been violated. In this regard, administrative judiciary should accept and effectively implement all fundamental parameters of the Court that are applied over the course of the protection of the right
