Osmanlı Tefsir Geleneğinde Türkçe Tefsirlerin Yeri

Osmanlı dönemi medreselerinde üzerinde önemle durularak öğretilen ilimlerin başında tefsir ilmi gelmektedir. Tefsir ilmine gösterilen bu özel ilginin neticesinde o dönemde çok sayıda müfessir yetişmiş ve birçok tefsir çalışması yapılmıştır. Bu dönemde tefsirle ilgili kaleme alınan eserler, genellikle şerh ve haşiye türünden olmakla birlikte bunun yanında müstakil tefsirler de tedvin edilmiştir. Öte yandan Osmanlı’da ilim dili Arapça olduğundan tefsirler genellikle Arapça olarak kaleme alınmıştır. Ancak önemli sayıda Türkçe tefsir de yazılmıştır. Ne var ki tedvin edilen Türkçe tefsirlerin birçoğu, derleme ve tercümelerden müteşekkildir. Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı tefsir geleneğindeki Türkçe tefsirlerin yeri incelenmektedir. Öncelikle Türk âlimlerin Arapça ve Türkçe tefsir çalışmaları ile ilgili özet bilgiler aktarılacak, ardından Osmanlı dönemindeki Türkçe tefsir çalışmalarına geçilecektir. Osmanlı dönemindeki tercüme ve Türkçe tefsirin seyriyle ilgili bilgi verilirken genel tefsir çalışmaları içindeki Türkçe olanların az olmasının nedenleri araştırılacaktır. Daha sonra Osmanlı’daki tefsir faaliyetlerinden bahsedilecektir. Osmanlı toplumunda yaygınlık kazanan Türkçe tefsirler ve yazarları tanıtılacak, yaygınlık kazanamayan tefsir çalışmalarıyla ilgili kısa bilgiler verilecektir.

The place of the Turkish traditions in the Ottoman

In the early days of the Holy Qur’an, the Qur’an was revealed in the first verse of the Qur’an. As a result of this special interest shown to the science of the interpretation, many inspectors have grown up in that time and many interpretations have been done. In this period, the works that were taken in the paper related to the interpretation, are usually of the kind of sherh and haishia, but in addition to this, the special interpretations have been provided. On the other hand, since the language of science in Ottoman is Arabic, the interpretations are often taken as Arabic. A large number of Turkish texts are also written. However, many of the Turkish translators are grateful for their compilation and translations. In this study, the place of the Turkish traditions in the Ottoman interpretation is examined. First of all, the information about the Arabic and Turkish translation works of the Turkish allies will be translated, then the Turkish translation works in the Ottoman period will be translated. The information about the translation and the course of the Turkish translation in the Ottoman era will be provided while the reasons for the minor Turkish translation in the general translation work will be investigated. Then we will talk about the activities of the Ottoman. The Turkish translators and writers who gained popularity in the Ottoman society will be presented, and short information about the translator work that won’t gain popularity will be given.

The Place Of Turkish Commentaries In Ottoman Commentary Tradition

One of the most important sciences taught in madrasas during Ottoman period was the science of commentaries. Because of this interest given to the science of commentaries, many commentators were educated and many commentaries were written. Although the works written about the commentaries usually consisted of annotations and footnotes during this period, individual commentaries were also codified. On the other hand, since the language of science was Arabic in the Ottoman Empire, the commentaries were usually written in Arabic, but a significant number of Turkish commentaries were also written. However, many of the commentaries, which were codified in Turkish, consisted of compilations and translations. In the present study, the place of Turkish commentaries in the Ottoman tradition of commentary will be examined. Firstly, information will be given about the Arabic and Turkish commentaries of Turkish scholars. Then, the Turkish commentaries during the Ottoman period will be dealt with. When information is given about the translation and the Turkish commentaries during the Ottoman period, the reasons for the low number of Turkish commentaries among general commentaries will be investigated. Then, the commentaries during the Ottoman State will be mentioned. The Turkish commentaries and their authors, who were respected in the Ottoman Society, will be introduced and brief information will be given about the commentaries that were not so common.
