Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a measurement tool to determine the developmental guidance needs of adolescents (EGRIB). The study included 826 (447 Girls, 379 Men) students aged 14 to 18 in Karaman. An analyzing factor for the validity of the EGRIBE structure has been made. According to the AFA, the EGRIBO is made up of 21 sub-dimensions and 5 sub-dimensions that describe 56.41% of the total variance. The five-factor structure identified by the AFA has been tested for validity analysis of the verifying factor analysis by applying to a different group of students. The result of the first and second level DFA has shown that the scale can be assessed as both five-factor and a single structure. The evidence of reliability for the EGRIBO was obtained with the cronbach alpha internal consistency ratio, two half reliability, test again test and McDonald (ω). According to reliability analyses, the scale’s cronbach alpha internal consistency ratio varies from .72 to .83; the two semi-test reliability ratio from .65 to .80; and the McDonald’s (ω) reliability ratio from .70 to .86. The measurement test re-test reliability ratio varies between .60 and .83. According to these findings, it can be said that the Adult Development Guidance Requirements Determination Scale shows valid and reliable evidence.
