During the Middle Ages, Harput, which is a place where the east and west, the north and the south cross the trade routes, has retained its importance in all periods. Traditional civil housing architecture XX, which is an important element of architectural structure in Harput. It continued to evolve uninterruptedly until the beginning of the century. Traditional houses in Harput are built in a single and two-storey, flat land dropled, coat or separated layer using a curtain. In the construction of Harput city neighborhood, the economic, cultural, social state of the people, rather than the religious structure, the topographic structure of the land came to the forefront. After the first quarter of the 1900s, the architectural development in Harput, established on the edges of the Lion Mountain, was built by undergoing structural changes in the architectural form, function, construction materials and construction techniques, down to the Elazığ settlement area in the south. After the 1950s, Harput first became a neighborhood of the rapidly developing and changing Elazığ city after the district. The complete stop of architectural structures in Harput, the changing social life conditions, the people's concrete houses, the traditional houses, as a result of their preference, were destroyed and the traditional houses were abandoned one by one. The historic Harput's Protection Improvement Plan has not been prepared, detected and registered until 2010 has accelerated the negative process. In the framework of the work we evaluate the Harput Right Mufti House, in terms of its architectural characteristics, two-storey interior sofa, two-storey, more than two rooms, is located within the magnificent plan. The XIX. The housing, which was thought to be built in the middle of the century, was used until the year 2000. Until 2007, some serious structural problems have occurred in the upper floor, flat dam covering system of the structure used as a commercial enterprise and in the internal parts. The registered housing was privatized by the Municipality of Elazığ and its repair was completed in 2010.
