Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to take the views of teachers and managers, to examine in detail the stakeholders’ views on the reflections of the 4+4+4 education system in the middle education. The study was conducted between February-June 2017. The universe of research is formed by teachers and managers who work in various secondary education institutions located in Tokat province. The research sampling consisting of 15 teachers and 15 managers is determined by the "maximum diversity sampling" of the target sampling methods. This research is a qualitative research and a qualitative research method is used as the "methode of confrontation". Imaginary analysis of the data obtained in the study was used. The research found that teachers and managers said that high school is obligatory and that it is wrong. The transition process is fast, no planning is done, the quality of high school education is negatively affected, the necessary physical infrastructure and technologically sufficient schools, the training programs are up to date, the students are under control thanks to compulsory secondary education, there will be a lack of intermittent elements in the industry and the need for open high school education. According to the results obtained in the study, the transition process is not too short when transitioning to the new education system and the teachers and managers are advised to provide the necessary service training and information about the changes made.
