The pear genotypes used in this study was collected and kept at collection parcel within the context of Eastern Anatolia Fruit Genetic Resources Project since 1994. Morphological characterizations of pear genotypes were done according to UPOV criteria’s. Ripening period, morphological, phenological, pomological and chemical characteristics of pear genotypes and their degrees of genetic affinity have been defined within this study. While nineteen pear genotypes were flowered and produced fruit in first year (2010), this number has decreased to seventeen genotypes in the second year (2011). Because of difference in the number of genotypes, evaluations were done individually within the years. Half of pear genotypes have grown semi vigorously, duration from full blossom until harvesting was 126 days for (6/3) and 163 days for (7/6) genotypes. Fruit weight ranged between 34.06g (3/3) – 476.41g (2/6) in 2010, and 30.77g(2/4) – 240.76g (5/4) in 2011. TSS content changed between 13.4% (3/3) and 20.8% (9/5) in 2010, and 10.0% (14/2) to 18.2% (2/5) in 2011. Dendrogram of pear genotypes were determined 3 different major groups each years. Pear genotypes numbered as 1/2, 1/6, 3/2, 5/4, 9/6, 11/6, 12/4 and 14/2 can directly be taken into the production. Further studies should be conducted to characterize molecular identification of these genotypes. This study was planned for the purpose of morphological characterization of the genotypes of the flour that have been collected since 1994 in the framework of the Fruit Genetic Resources Project of the Eastern Anadolu Region and are stored in the collection parcel at the Erzincan Garden Culture Research Station according to the UPOV criteria, and was conducted in 2010 and 2011. The study found the time of maturation of the genotypes, the morphological, phenological, pomological and chemical characteristics of the genetic relativity degrees. 19 of the poverty genotypes in 2010 and 17 in 2011 have been evaluated separately over the years. Half of the poverty genotypes have the ability to develop in a medium force; the period from full flower to harvest is between 126 days (6/3) and 163 days (7/6); the fruit weight in 2010 is between 34,06g (3/3) and 476,41g (2/6); in 2011 it is between 30,77g (2/4) and 240,76g (5/4); in 2010 it is between 13,4 % (3/3) and 20,8 % (9/5); in 2011 it is between 10,0 % (14/2) and 18,2 % (2/5); in 2010 it is between 13,4 % (3/3) and 20,8 % (9/5); in 2011 it is between 10,0 % (14/2) and 18,2 % (2/5). The two-year dendogram of poverty genotypes also identifies three different main groups. Genotypes 1/2, 1/6, 3/2, 5/4, 9/6, 11/6, 12/4 and 14/2 of the poverty genotypes are determined to be qualified for direct production programs, while molecular characterization of the same genotypes must also be carried out.
