So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Büyük Selçuklu İmparatorluğu’nun (1040-1157) ikinci hükümdarı olan Alp Arslan (1063-1072) Bizans imparatoru Romanos Diogenes karşısında kazandığı, Türk, İslâm ve Dünya tarihinde bir dönüm noktası teşkil eden Malazgirt Zaferi’yle Anadolu kapılarını Türklere açmış, Anadolu’nun tedricen Türkleşmesi ve İslâmlaşmasını sağlamıştır. Alp Arslan şahsiyeti, samimi dindarlığı, kazandığı zaferler, başta Nizamiye Medreseleri olmak üzere ilim ve kültür hayatına katkıları, ülkede sağladığı siyasî istikrar, huzur ve iktisadî gelişmeyle Selçuklu tarihinde haklı bir şöhrete kavuşmuştur. Başta Türk bilim adamları olmak üzere araştırmacıların Sultan Alp Arslan’ın ölümü ve defnedildiği yer konusundaki çalışmalarına katkıda bulunmak amacıyla İbnü’l- Kalânisî’den (ö. 555/1160) İbn Tağriberdî’ye (ö. 874/1470) kadar Arapça kaynaklardaki bilgileri kronolojik sıra dahilinde Türkçe’ye tercüme etme ihtiyacı hissettik.
