Abstract:

In this study, teachers’ candidates identified their views on the problems they experience with learning and studied whether these problems can be solved by mobile learning applications. The study was carried out with second-class students. The educational psychology course has taken into account the "base concepts, mental, language, moral and personality development" units within the framework of development psychology. In this study, the action research process of quality research has been employed. All the planning, implementation and evaluation roles in this process are performed by the researcher. In the total of four weeks of each week, the research process takes place in a pre-defined mobile environment with materials related to the course content, experimental tests, individual evaluation and reversal correction, etc. Applications have been implemented. The data of the study was obtained through written and verbal conversations and research observations. At the end of the analysis of the data obtained, four main topics were first revealed: the problems that participants had before mobile learning sharing, the possibilities of the use of the mobile learning platform, the problems related to the mobile learning platform and the recommendations on the use of the mobile learning platform. As a result, participants with problems related to effective participation in the pre-work teaching-learning process, despite some technical problems, found their learning experiences based on the mobile learning environment provided to them quite facilitating, useful and efficient.
