Felsefe, dil ve edebiyat araştırmaları başta olmak üzere pek çok disiplinden araştırmacı tarafından pek çok açıdan incelenen Kutadgu Bilig, Türk edebiyatının en önemli eserlerinden biridir. Bu eser, Yusuf Has Hâcip tarafından yazılmış ve 1069 yılında tamamlanmıştır. Kimi kaynakta siyaset-name kiminde nasihat-name olarak tanımlanan Kutadgu Bilig, ahlak ve devlet anlayışı ile İslam inancının ilkeleri birleştirilerek kaleme alınmış, değerli bir eserdir. Eser, Türk töresini ve toplum yaşamına dair meseleleri, iyi bir devlet yönetiminin nasıl olması gerektiği bilgisi ile bir arada ele alır. Eserin başarısı böylesine ağır bir konunun oldukça ilginç bir yöntemle, sıra dışı bir anlatımla dile getirilmesinde yatar. Devlet, mutluluk, akıl, kanaat/akıbet kavramları Kün-Togdı, Ay-Toldı, Ögdülmiş ve Odgurmış’ın şahsında ve bunların arasında geçen karşılıklı konuşmalarda ifadesini bulur. Bu çalışmada, bu dört ana karakterden yalnızca Odgurmış’un olay örgüsü içindeki yeri ve görüşleri değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. İncelemenin çıkış noktasını, Odgurmış’ın simgelediği kavramın edebiyat araştırmalarının birçoğunda “kanaat/akıbet” sözcükleri ile tanımlanmış olması oluşturmaktadır. Oysa Reşid Rahmeti Arat, Kutadgu Bilig üzerine yaptığı araştırmalara dayanarak, Odgurmış’ın sadece “akıbet”i simgelediği görüşündedir. Reşid Rahmeti Arat’ın bu saptamasından hareketle bu çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak, eserin olay örgüsü içinde Odgurmış’ın yeri ve dünya görüşü irdelenerek kanaat/akıbet ikilemi tartışmaya açılmıştır.
Kutadgu Bilig, which is studied by researchers from many disciplines, including philosophy, language and literary research, is one of the most important works of Turkish literature. This work was written by Yusuf Has Hâcip and completed in 1069. In some sources, the political-name in some is defined as a counsel-name, the Kutadgu Bilig is a valuable work, combined with the principles of morality and state understanding and Islamic faith. The work deals with the issues of the Turkish ceremony and the life of society, with the knowledge of how a good government should be. The success of the work lies in speaking such a heavy topic in a very interesting way, with an unusual narrative. The concepts of state, happiness, mind, canyon/canyon find their expression in the person of Kün-Togdi, Moon-Told, Ögdülmiş and Odgurmış and in the mutual conversations that pass between them. In this study, these four main characters were taken to evaluate only the place and views of Odgurmış in the event line. The outcome point of the review is that the concept that Odgurmış symbolizes is defined in many literary research with the words "kanat/kibet". But Reşid Rahmeti Arat, based on his research on Kutadgu Bilig, believes that Odgurmış only symbolizes the "built". As a result of this discovery of Rashid Rahmeti Arat in this study, the use of quality research methods, the place of Odgurmış in the event group and the world view are opened to the discussion of canat/built two.
Kutagdu Bilig that was examined in many aspects by many researchers from many disciplines, especially researchers from philosophy, language and literature, is one of the important works of Turkish literature. It was written by Yusuf Has Hacip and was completed in 1069. According to some sources it is a politics book and for some others it is a advisory book. It is a valuable work that fuses principles of Islamic belief and moral and state conception. It approaches Turkish convention with subjects about social life and the information that how a good rule of state should be. The source of the book’s success is that it tells such a heavy subject with a very interesting method and a very unusual wording. The notions; state, happiness, intelligence, opinion/fate were expressed in Kün-Togdı, Ay-Toldı, Ögdülmiş and Odgurmış and their conversations. In this work, only one of four main characters, Odgurmuş’s place in chain of events and his opinions were examined. The starting point of this article is that in majority of researches of literature, the notion symbolised by Odgurmuş is defined by the words Opinion/fate. However, Reşid Rahmeti Arat thinks that Odgurmuş symbolises only “fate”, on the grounds of his researches on Kutadgu Bilig. Taking this determination of Reşid Rahmeti Arat as a starting point, in this research, using qualitatif research methods, Odgurmış’s place in chain of events and his worldview are examined and opinion/fate dilemma is opened to discussion.
