Abstract:

Relationships with the external environment are important to maintain the existence of organizations. When studied in theoretical context, the relations with the external environment are addressed from the new corporate theory’s “uncertainty” point of view. The study of the effects of uncertainty is important to predict organizations’ reactive or proactive approaches in uncertainty environments. This study aims to study the impact of uncertainty in the context of environmental harmony and reaction within the framework of the concept of organizational homogeneity. The concept of uncertainty has been assessed with the perspective drawn by the new corporate theory, which has been addressed with the types of organizational homogeneity. In this context, in the process of adaptation to the organizational environment, the organizations are implementing the organized structure, this structure shows changes according to the relationships with the organizational environment. In this change, the interaction of organizations with the actors in their external surroundings, social, economic, political elements, technological developments and the country and country groups in which they operate, the tendency to avoid uncertainty is among the possible elements that will affect the organizations' approaches.
