Abstract:

Class management, a complex process in which educational-learning activities are carried out, is influenced by many variables. Identifying these variables by school managers who are obliged to manage the school will bring a different look at class management. Therefore, in this study, 11 school directors who work in the central primary schools of Çanakkale were discussed in order to determine the opinions of school directors on the factors affecting the effectiveness of class management. In this study, the quality method is used, the data is analyzed using the visual analysis technique. In the framework of the findings obtained from the research, school managers pointed out that the effectiveness of class management was influenced by many factors, and at the beginning, the environment, the family and the quality of the school. The research findings are hoped to help class teachers improve their skills with regard to the dimensions that make up class management.
