Abstract:

Communication is an indispensable life that has a very important role in people’s relationships with each other. Communication skills, which have an important role in the ability to create a sufficient level of communication that people need in every field of their daily life, are also a major factor in the successful professional life of individuals. In this study, the communication skills of the servants from the important actors of the service sector were evaluated. The study included 100 participants engaged in the serving profession and all participants were applied the Social Communication Skills Score Score. According to the detailed literature scan we have done, the first of the findings obtained from this study is that the service profession has found sufficient level of communication skills. We believe that advanced work, in human-focused and working-intense professional groups, will have a positive impact on work efficiency and the health of the employee by increasing awareness of the importance of communication skills in the workplace.
