Abstract:

This study, by applying the qualification method, revealed the views of academic staff working in institutions that provide sports education at higher education level towards distance education. The data for the research was obtained through a form of interview prepared by the researchers. In this interview form, 6 semi-configured questions are placed. The data obtained was analyzed using the content analysis technique. In the analysis of the obtained data, computer-supported quality data analysis was used. As a result, according to the opinions of the academic staff on distance learning, in addition to providing the necessary equipment and sub-structure in sports education institutions, it was necessary to provide a detailed training on distance learning. Because, today, when the technology is developing all the speed, sports education institutions in universities must be integrated and effectively used in remote education in order to be more flexible and faster and constantly acquire new skills.
