Bu çalışmada Ebû Ca‘fer Muhammed b. el-Hasen b. Alî et-Tûsî’nin (ö. 460/1067) et-Tibyan fî Tefsîri’l-Kur’ân adlı eserinde kıraatlere bakışı incelenmiştir. Tûsî, İmâmiyye’nin dört temel hadis kitabı Kütüb-i Erbaʻa’dan ikisinin yazarı olan çok yönlü bir müfessirdir. Onun tefsiri klasik dönem İmamiyye Şîası’nın en önemli eserlerindendir. Bu kitap onun el-Fihrist’inde kaydettiği kırk üç eserinden biridir. Kur’an tefsirine girişenlerin üzerinde durdukları konulardan biri de kıraatlerdir. Tûsî, pek çok alanda naklettiği rivayetlerle birlikte tefsirinde dirayet yöntemini de kullanarak dil ile ilgili tahlil ve değerlendirmelere geniş yer vermiştir. Bu bağlamda kıraatler de üzerinde durduğu konulardandır. Müfessirin dil ve gramer bilgisi kıraat rivayetleri esnasındaki değerlendirmelerinde açıkça görülmektedir. Kur’an’ın farklı okuyuş şekilleri olan kıraatler, bazı durumlarda anlam, yorum ve hüküm farklılıklarına sebep olmaktadır. Tûsî, zaman zaman kıraatler arasında tercihlerde de bulunmaktadır. Nadiren de olsa onun değerlendirmelerinde mezhebî kaygılarla hareket ettiği de görülebilir. Usûlîliğin teşekkülü aşamasında kurucu role sahip olan Tûsî’nin, kıraatlere ve bu konudaki rivayetlere yaklaşımının Şiî bakış açısının şekillenmesinde etkili olduğunu düşünmekteyiz.
