Abstract:

In this study, it has been explained the fine arts regarding “muhassinât al-ma’naviyyah/the spiritual beauty”, which constitutes the part of Badi’ science – one of the important parts of Arabic language and eloquence. Mentioned arts are embellishment arts about semantic which enrich the discourse in terms of beauty, grace, and richness. Almost every literary work in Arabic literature which was written as prose or poetry, have been embodied with mentioned arts by this means works became semantically rich, graceful and beautiful in discourse. Good understanding of these arts, beyond the aesthetic pleasure that the reader enjoys, is both crucial and essential for better comprehension of the literary text. From such a rich text in terms of literary arts, it is possible to achieve important information and elaborateness in language, history, philosophy, sociology, and psychologyIn this study, while analyzing relevant arts, examples have been given primarily from the Qur’an and Arabic poetry. Moreover, in order to help better understanding of the subject, and to offer a comparison, examples from Turkish poetry have been given as well
