Behçet’s disease is an inflammatory disease characterized by recurrent oral aphthous ulcers and various accompanying systemic pathologies. These additional pathologies include ocular and neurologic disease, genital ulcers, skin lesions, arthritis and vascular involvement. It is an inflammatory disease and most of the clinical manifestations are due to vasculitides. Behçet’s disease is remarkable for its ability to affect blood vessels of all sizes of both venous and arterial sides of the circulation. Behçet’s vasculitides are mostly seen in the venous system but the arterial disease may also be encountered. Among the large arteries, pulmonary artery, aorta and its branches are predominantly involved. Carotid artery involvement is rarely seen. In this article, a Behçet’s patient referred with a carotid artery aneurysm is presented.
