Teknolojik gelişmelerin yaşandığı bu çağda bilişim teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin çeşitli sorunlarla karşılaşmaları olasıdır. Bu araştırmanın amacı bilişim teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin yaşadığı sorunlar ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerilerinin belirlenmesidir. Nitel bir çalışma olan bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında Samsun ili Alaçam ilçesinde görev yapmakta olan 2 kadın, 5 erkek olmak üzere toplam 7 bilişim teknolojileri öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Görüşmeler akıllı telefon ses kayıt özelliği ile kaydedilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde nitel veri analiz tekniklerinden içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda bilişim teknolojileri öğretmenleri sorun olarak; norm fazlası olmalarını, kendilerine teknik servis muamelesi yapılmasını, angarya işler yüklenmesini, bilişim sınıflarının yenilenmemesini, bilişim sınıflarında donanım-yazılım desteğinin olmamasını, üniversitede aldıkları eğitimin yeterli olmamasını, alanlarındaki gelişmeleri takip edemediklerinde stres yaşadıklarını ve yakın çevreleri tarafından da teknik servis olarak görüldüklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Araştırmada her okula ders saatine bakılmaksızın bir bilişim teknolojileri öğretmeni ataması yapılması, bilişim sınıfı olmayan okullara bilişim sınıfı kurulması, mevcut bilişim sınıflarının yenilenmesi ve bilişim sınıflarına yazılım-donanım desteği sağlanması gibi öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
It is certain that information technology teachers experience numerous problems in this age of technological development. This research aims to determine the problems faced by information technology teachers and the solutions proposed for these problems. The study group of this research which is based on the qualitative study consists of total of 7 information technology teachers, 2 of whom are females and 5 of whom are males, who are working in Alaçam district of Samsun in the 2021-2022 academic year. The data of this research were obtained by using a semi-constructed interview technique which is one of the qualitative data collection techniques. Interviews were recorded with the smartphone voice recording feature. In the analysis of the obtained data, content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques which are among the qualitative data analysis techniques were used. In conclusion, information technology teachers stated that they are more than the norm, they are treated as a technical service, they are overwhelmed with chores, the informatics classes are not renewed, there is no hardware-software support in the informatics classes, the education they receive at the university is not sufficient, they experience stress when they are unable to follow the developments in their field and they have behaved as if they are technical service by their close circle. In this research, the following suggestions have been proposed to meet the learning needs of learners; to appoint an information technology teacher to every school by disregarding the class hour, to establish an informatics class in schools without an informatics class, to renew the existing informatics classes and to provide software-hardware support to the informatics classes.
