Abstract:

One of the most important risks faced in the textile industry, which is a work-to-working industry with a large concentration of employees, is ergonomic risks related to ergonomics, which is a fundamental and inseparable part of occupational health and safety practices. Repeated movements, inappropriate position, working in the same position for a long time are the most common ergonomic risks, causing disorders in the muscle skeletal system. The excess of this disorder in the textile industry also demonstrates the need for ergonomic intervention. Work rotation balances ergonomic risks between individual work tasks, allowing employees to be in different positions. This study aims to improve industrial safety and health by significantly reducing the number of employees exposed to ergonomic risks under high working conditions. For this purpose, the work that is physically compulsory in the process until the completion of a t-shirt plant in the textile industry that manufactures t-shirts has been determined by the REBA method in 15 separate tasks, from planting to packaging. The target programming and the creation of a mathematical model are designed to allow the staff to move conversively with the weekly work rotation to reduce the work burden on employees. Prepared staff appointment; will improve the productivity and quality of life by reducing the health and safety problems of the employee, will increase the concentration and work satisfaction of the employees, will help them improve by providing variation in the risk levels they are exposed to by preventing the permanent appointment of employees to high-risk places, will improve the efficiency of the sector.
