Abstract:

The tourism sector with a dynamic structure is addressed as an important tool in the country’s economies, in the elimination of financial and financial imbalances, in the elevation of the employment level and in the provision of economic development and in the development of the development level. Tourism is seen as an important factor in gaining profits in the economy, increasing employment and correction of inequalities in the economy. For this purpose, the MINT (Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria and Turkey), which is called the economy of the future, is intended to test the validity of the approximation hypothesis to tourism revenues of its countries. Method - The study used annual tourism income data covering the period 1995-2019. In the test with the root test of the non-directional panel unit, the two-regime otoregresive (TAR) model was used. In the Panel TAR model, the stagnation of the regimes is tested both individually and together. Results - First, the conclusion was that the tourism income series for the MINT countries is not linear and the transition country between the two regimes is Mexico. The series stands out both in the first and second regimes and in the processed regimes. In the first and together addressed regime, relative proximity is a matter of absolute proximity in the second regime. The result - Tourism income is an important tool in making profit in the economy, increasing employment and repairing the imbalances in the economy.
