Purpose: This identifying study was done with the aim of studying nurses’ attitudes and influencing factors towards professionalism. The universe of research was formed by 1350 nurses working in a university hospital between 1 March 2015 and 15 May 2015. A total of 132 nurses accepted to participate in the study. The data was collected with a survey form prepared by researchers and consisting of informative questions about nurses and "Professional Attitude Inventory" developed by Erbil and Bakır in 2009. The low score is 32 and the high score is 160. The total score to be taken from the scale gives the professional attitude score in the profession, and the professional attitude level increases as the score is received. The researchers who developed the scale received written permission to use. The number and percentage distribution of data is calculated. The average in the analysis of the data, Mann Whitney U, Kruskall Wallis, received written permission from the Board and the institution in which the study was carried out.ANOVA and the correlation test were used. Research Ethical findings: The reliability ratio of the scale in this study was found as Cronbach's Alpha = 0.93. The scale score average is 134.97 + 16.01'. 94.7 percent of nurses are women, 5.3 percent are pre-graduate graduates, 86.4 percent are graduates, 8.3 percent are graduates, and 40.2 percent work in internal clinics. 24.2% of nurses have been working for 1-3 years, 27.3% for 4-10 years, 32.6% for 1121 years, 15.9% for 22-34 years. The average working time of nurses in the profession is 11.88 + 8.45 years. The professional attitude scale score was 134.97 + 16.01 in the study. It has been found that there is a weak relationship between the time of work in the profession and the professional attitude. The result: the age group of nurses, gender, time of work in the profession, the level of education has not affected their professional attitudes, but the clinic in which they work has affected the professional attitudes of nurses. The result was that the professional attitudes of all the nurses involved in the study were high, the professional attitudes of nurses working in the surgical clinics were higher than those working in the internal clinics.
